Spare Barb / Flopper for Speargun Shaft

Description

Spare barb for speargun spear, the perfect replacement for spear shaft flopper.

Length: 75MM

Pack contains: 2x barb with axis pin

Barb Replacing

File down the head of the existing pin on one  side until it has completely disappeared.

Push out the pin with the help of a nail or hole punch with the same diameter.

Remove existing pin and flopper, replacing with the new bard and pin axis.

Check the new pin is not too long, you may have to file down the pin if once fitted it exceeds more than a millimetre from each side of the shaft.

Last step is to hammer the pin to create a mushroom style end to secure in place.

Do not hit the centre but try to hit the perimeter of the pin.
